Some Basic Health Facts to keep you Health

While no two people are exactly alike, there are some basic health facts that everyone should be aware of in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Perhaps one of the most common of these is water consumption.  Typically everyone should consume at least eight 8 ounce glasses of water per day.  Water helps to cleanse the body and keep it hydrated.  Another of the most common health facts is to brush your teeth at least two times a day and preferably three.  Recent studies have shown that good dental health often correlates to overall health, so brushing your teeth regularly and getting check ups is a great way to start.  One of the most popular health facts in recent years is your daily fiber intake.  Diets rich in fiber can help to contribute to lower cholesterol and overall good heart health, so it’s important to eat fiber rich foods and take a fiber supplement if needed.
 
Of course, getting proper exercise is one of the health facts that everyone knows about.  Doctors say people who get at least thirty minutes or more of exercise per day generally live longer and healthier lives.  Walking, jogging, aerobics, or weight lifting is some good examples of fitness that we can all follow for a healthier lifestyle.  Another of the popular health facts includes avoiding certain things in our daily diets and lifestyle.  These include smoking, drinking more than two alcoholic drinks per day, and limiting things like sugar and fat.  Avoiding all of these things will help to contribute to a healthy body.  By following some basic health facts each and every day of our lives, we can be sure we will live a longer, happier life, and set a good example for our family and friends to do the same thing as well.
